Today I came across a blog, that really put things into prospective for me. I'm grateful for the knowledge that I have of an Eternal Family. Playing catch up!

We are still a live and kicking! We've had a very, VERY long 6 months! We have had birthdays, Halloween, a wedding, Christmas, a big move, starting school, and getting used to cold weather again! Here are some pictures over the last little while....

For my birthday in August, Jeremy took me golfing! It was so much fun.

We moved!! Back to Utah! Long story, not a job change, but our choice. I'm seriously missing California and our little beach town!! Mostly the family out there! On the positive side we have family here too! Oh and we found a really yummy frozen yogurt place really close to us :)

Kaiden had a project at school where they had to give a report on a famous person and why try liked them. Can you guess who he chose?? Give up?? Steven Spielberg. He did a really good job. This was the wax museum day!

Today was amazing! We had to get out of the house, so we spent most of the day at the beach of course! Brinley loves the sand, but stays far from the water. Its nice to not worry about her and the ocean :) I hope there are plenty more days to come that are like today! You can't beat 80 degree weather in March :)

I'm starting to finally get a handle on the laundry "issue" that I have. I bought small baskets for everyone and fold their clothes right into them. They all know when they see it to put it away! (Even Jeremy does it) So far so good.

Little Avery was brave this last trip to D-land, she rode space mountain! That's what her face looked like the entire time, I'm sure! I think I was telling her that it's going to take our picture now! We where put in the very front. She handled it like a champ! Here's to hoping I'll have a roller-coaster buddy!

So I went private. I didn't think that I would ever do it, but today I was looking to see if any comments where left on our blog and I noticed that my site was viewed by someone in Madrid. Sorta strange, but it happens with web crawlers right ?!? But the weird part was, when I looked at what they where clicking on exactly, I notice that they where looking at all the pictures of just Kaiden. 8th Birthday party

Kaiden turned eight, so we had a great little party for him. He got to invite a few friends. We made masks, had a relay race, had a find the gummy worms in a pile of whip cream game open gifts and had cupcakes.

That weekend we had family in town, his birthday party, trick or treating, baptism and luncheon. Needless to say, it was the longest week/weekend of my life. He had a great time, so that is all that mattered.

Pumpkin Carving

For family night, we carved pumpkins. Avery made her pumpkin into a crown, Kaiden did a vampire, and Ry did a happy face. They did a great job this year. It's been really nice now that they are older and more independent. We had a busy month last month, so we got the pumpkins done a week before Halloween this year and I still think we probably did it too soon. By Halloween, Avery's wilted.

So here are the first day of school pictures! Kaiden found his Mario hat and really hasn't taken it off. He will shower at night and then put it back on and sleep in it. So needless to say he wore it to school.

Birthday party for a 1 year old, a move, and a little update

Brinley turned 1 on July 20th! I cant believe how fast this year has gone. She isn't walking yet (which I am completely ok with) but she is pulling herself up and walking around the furniture and things. She is a silly little girl, she likes to make us laugh, and she loves to play peek-a-boo. Everytime I pull a shirt or a dress over her head she will say "Boo" when her head pops out. Here are some pictures I took of her for her 1st birthday and her party.

I (well Jeremy) got Photoshop a little while ago, so I'm trying to figure it out. I love to take pictures, and always have. It's a little hobby of mine. Avery loves to be my little subject, and she is so dang cute, she is usually in most of the ones I take. She saw that I was taking pictures of Brinley and went into the room and changed her clothes and asked me to take some of her and of her and I together.

We finally found a place to live. Its in Carpinteria. Its beautiful and about 1/2 mile from the beach. So visitors, come on over :) We love our little place. It has everything we wanted (ie..dishwasher, laundry hook ups) All the places we where looking at (in our price range) in Santa Barbara didn't have both together.

The kids start school in 2 weeks. Jeremy and I are going to Education week, in a week. I'm super excited about that. Mom is taking our kids so we can go kid free!! (Thanks MOM, we love you) Our 10 year anniversary is coming up too, I can hardly believe we have been married for that long. I feel old :)

Now that it's summer, I have started to let the kids dress and get ready for the day, themselves. It has made for some funny outfits and crazy hair, but at least I'm getting a little break from getting them ready for the day. Today Avery wore a black dress with puppies on it and her bright pink rain boots.

-on a side note I'm letting the boys hair grow out!! Well Ry's anyway. We will see what we will do with Kaiden's hair.

So this last week, the weather has been on the "cold" side. I know, I know, how can it be cold when we live in Santa Barbara! What I mean is, cold for here! We usually go to the park everyday to get the energy out, but we have spent a lot of time at home this week due to the weather. We bought Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs, and watched it on Wednesday. After the movie, Ryland had fallen asleep, the older kids and I where laying on my bed talking. We decided to play "pick a number." So it was my turn.

Me: Ok my number is between 1-70
Kaiden: 57
Avery: 82
M: no BETWEEN 1 & 70
A: OK.........2
M: nope
K: 27
M: yep you got it

Later that day I came home and was telling Jeremy about the conversation Kaiden and I had had that day. Kaiden was listing to the conversation, after I said the "webbles" part, he stops me and told me that I said it wrong.

School carnival

On Friday, the kids school had a carnival. It was also crazy hair day at school. When we pulled up in the morning Avery was looking around to see other how everyones hair looked, and noticed that she and Kaiden where the only ones with crazy hair. Poor little thing, I could just see the embarrassment wash over her face. I told her not to worry and to just tell people that it was for the carnival after school. She got out of the car and went to class. Later that day she told me that she made it! I asked her what she meant and she told me that she had gone all day without someone laughing at her!

That afternoon we took them to the carnival. It was tons of fun.

LAST Saturday, we drove down to see our dear Caitlin and Logan. We love hanging out with them. We went rollerblading around Rancho Santa Margarita lake, we took the kids bikes and put the younger 2 in the jogging stroller and went for it. It was a lot of fun. In fact it was so much fun that we decided to do it again this weekend too. This time we got to go see Clay and Sunny and there new beautiful addition, Little Elise.

Today was Brinley's 8 month check up. She is growing right along on her little growth chart. She only weighs 14 pounds!! She is so tiny. The Dr. was checking her out, and telling me what shots we where to expect, then he got to her ears and said, "uhh, she has a double ear infection." I honestly had no idea there was anything wrong with her at all. She has been sleeping all night and hasn't acted like anything has been wrong. Poor little thing. So instead of her getting shots today, we had them postpone the shots for another 2 weeks... I'm sure she will be fine in a couple of days. :)

We go to Disneyland. I'm sure everyone is tired of see pictures of Disneyland on our blog, but I guess that's all we do :) This time was interesting. It was pouring rain and cold outside but not until the night time. So there where a lot of people there. We did have a great time, until Avery had an accident. We where walking to dinner, in the rain, and she told me her hands where cold. I told her to put them in her pockets of her rain jacket. Next thing I know she is face down on the ground. When Avery gets imbarraced she gets really shy and just looks down. She was quite, laying there and when I picked her up the first thing I said was "are you ok?, take your hand out of your pockets." When I lifted her head up she just started screaming. When I looked at her face she had blood running down from her nose. Jeremy was in front of me with the stroller and Kaiden. I had Ry and started yelling for him. He came around the corner, and I told him I have to take her to the first aid center. All I kept thinking about, was she broke her nose. I felt so bad because I'M the one who told her to put her hands in her pockets. The first aid center was really great. The nurses there took us right in and checked her nose to make sure that she didn't break it. She didn't thank goodness. They put an icepack on her nose. She asked if we could stay in the room for awhile, I told her we could, she kind of got herself together and we went on our way. She is doing great now, her little nose is a bit swollen and scraped up. She still looks cute :)

Bowling last week

Last Friday, it was raining, so we decided last minute to go bowling. The kids had a great time. This bowling ally we went to, was probably the nicest bowling ally we have been too. There was a nice restaurant attached to it, and it was really clean. I was excited to see that. There wasn't a bunch of teenagers running around either. It was great. They had some great food too, which is always a plus :)

So It was the Hundredth day of school, (awhile back) and I did something cute to Avery's hair to celebrate. (I did get the idea from another friends blog)

Then, sometime later, we went to Disneyland on a rainy day. IT WAS THE BEST DAY TO GO! We had no lines, the kids stayed dry, because of advanced planning, and we go to go on all the rides we wanted to. It was fantastic.

I didn't think that Princess Aurora was that cute. She was kind of weird...The kids loved her, and Ry calls her "I know you"

Some time shortly after that, I had a mini photo shoot with Brinley. I really love my camera!! She was so funny. You can totally see her personality in these pictures!

For V-day, I got a new lens for said camera. So much fun!!

Cousins came for a short weekend visit. We played at the park with the famous " Stomp Rocket." I picked it up at big 5 for really cheep, and the kids are in love with it!!

That same weekend, Avery had a fun little event at CPK. The kids got to go and tour the kitchen and make their own little pizza. She wants to be a Chef, so she thought it was the most exciting thing ever.

We hit Disneyland again on Presidents day with the cousins and Nana, who also came for the weekend. Another great trip. The next day after Disneyland Avery came down with a fever. I know that when she gets a fever, that it probably means pneumonia. Off to the Dr. we went. Sure enough, I was right. Poor little thing is doing better now (a week later) Now the boys and Jeremy are sick. So much fun....

I finally feel like I have perfected the art of bow making. The girls now have a million pink and white bows. Now I just have to find a good deal on grosgrain ribbon for all the other colors...

This was Kaiden's birthday trip to Disneyland. We had such a great time that day. The kids didn't really remember the last trip so this was a lot of fun for them.

This was a trip that we went on a whim... I have to say it was probably the best trip we have every done. Avery got to meet princesses and they boys got to go on some rides with Daddy. We had some great food, and there was no rush. The kids where all so good. It was a great day.

Then there was Uncle Logans Birthday

Pretty much any excuse we can think of we go..:) The kids love it.
Avery's birthday came next.....

We took Avery to the Bibbity Bobbitiy Boutique. She got her hair done and her nails, and a little makeup. She was very excited. It's a small world was open for the holidays. So we got to ride that. Kaiden has been my little roller coaster buddy. I'm so glad he likes them as much as I do....well maybe not as much but he is willing to go on them with me. We still havent done to much in California Disney, but we will work on that :)

That's the end of the trips so far. Its been a lot of fun to see Disneyland through the kids eyes. They get so excited!! I'm sure there will be a lot more trips to come....

I guess that could be a good thing right???? I am so far behind...Lets see, Halloween is a good starting point :) We went to Brandon and Becky's this year, which has been turning out to be a tradition. When we all lived in Utah that is where you could find us all. We have a great dinner, then hit the streets. This year was no different! The kids love to go out with the cousins and they have the best neighborhoods to trick or treat in. We had some fantastic candy this year I have to say. The kids made out pretty well...(which really means, I got to eat a lot of great candy) Kaiden wanted to be a knight. We had a really hard time finding a knight costume. We even went to the specialty store with no luck. So we got the closest thing to it that we could find. He was a Gladiator. Avery was Alice in wonderland (thanks to Aunt Brooke who works for leg Ave.) Brinley was a flower and Ry was Scooby Doo.

Kaidens Birthday was on the 29 of October. We got him a great little cake that was shaped like a monster. He thought it was great. We also started the Disneyland tradition. We did little goody bags filled with candy for the class which I'm sure the parents loved 2 days before Halloween.:)

So now its time to make dinner but when the kids go to bed I'll have to post more...I hope :)

Today, Avery's class went to Lane Farm Pumpkin Patch. I got to go with themand I brought Ry and Brinley of course. The class got there at 9, I was suppose to be there too, but I got lost and got there at 9:30 instead. Avery was really excited that I was there with her class. I got to meet all her little friends! She got to ride the bus, so she was pretty pumped. After the pumpkin patch we got to go to the park. Ryland got to run off all his energy so that was nice. That means a long nap!! Here are some pictures from today...

Here is a picture of the new bunk beds we got for the kids. When we get into a place it will be the boys bed. It has a trundle, so we will have an extra bed for everyone who wants to visit :)

I actually took the kids to the pumpkin patch on a whim this week too. Before Avery's class went. That's why they aren't put together. We got Ry and Kaiden pumpkins on this trip. It was a lot of fun. The kids got to see the farm animals that they had. They had a little area where they could play in hay. That was fun trying to get that out of Avery's hair. We got to go on a hay ride together around the farm. It was so hot that day. I couldn't believe it, we are in mid-October and it was 92. CRAZY, and I love it!

Poor little Ry, we where getting the kids ready for bed and he insisted on putting Avery's swim suite on...I don't think he will ever live this one down!!

P.S. that is a Halloween bucket on his head!

Where to begin?

Again, sorry for the lack of blogs...I'm not even sure that there are any readers left out there!!

Well Santa Barbara has been a lot of fun. Especially this summer. We had many trips to the beach and hanging out with cousins who live only an hour away, 3 trips to Utah and back. We had 2 weddings and a visit with Nana and Papa. We had a trip to Fresno for a baby blessing, and got to see great grandparents and Aunts and Uncles. We had school start (blogged about earlier) and zoo trips. Like I said, crazy/fun times.

This was taken at our favorite spot, Foster freeze. We usually hit it up after a beach trip. The kids love it. Ryland actually isn't to crazy about ice cream, but loves to go anyway. You can see by the picture they have a great time. Avery is super funny. She thought she would be silly and make a crazy face. We laughed so hard when we had seen what she had done.

This was Avery one night. I came into check on the kids and saw she had fallen asleep with my brush.

My 2 girls, Avery is always asking to hold Brinley and always wants us to take pictures of it. Brin really loves to watch Avery. She always smile when she sees her. I can't wait for Brinley to get a little older and they can play together.

Now that Avery goes to school all day, I have a lot of time with little Ry. I took him to the Zoo one day. We had a little Mommy and Ryland date. This was him watching the monkeys. Its his favorite. We had lunch together and walked around for a while. Came home and had a nap! It was a great day.

So this was a REALLY fun thing. We woke up at 1:30 in the morning to a car alarm going off. Jeremy got up to go see what it was. We didn't think anything of it and went back to bed. In the morning we where getting ready to go out for the day and we found our window busted out. In the living room there was glass everywhere and a window busted out too. I was SO mad. I couldn't believe it. I thought we lived in a great neighborhood. We called the police and they pretty much told us the only thing we could do was to come in on Monday and file a report. So much for them...We took my car in to the dealership to have it fixed. Unfortunately our deductible was $500 and the insurance company quoted us $250. Ok, fine it had to be fixed and there wasn't anyone to blame or to make them pay for it, so we got it done. I went to pick up the car 2 days after they said it would be done (because they didn't have it done) and the bill was a whopping $600...what?!?!? I called the insurance company to tell them that they quote was WAY off and they told me, "did you go to our preferred glass company?" Nobody told me about that. The guy apologized and said sorry about that. Next time go through them and they will beat or match our quote. GREAT! So that was that.

She pretty much sleeps through the night. She does have a fussy time, as we like to call it. But she gets over it quickly. I'm really lucky this time around. :)

The kids started school on the 24th. Avery is in Kindergarten and Kaiden is in 1st grade. They are really loving it. The school is weird here, they do not have a parking lot so pick up and drop off is very tricky! Avery's teacher is named Ms. Walls, she is young and cute and has a lot of energy. Just like a Kindergarten teacher should be. Kaiden's teacher is Mrs. Beiley, she is older and sweet! They are really enjoying it, so far!

We got the family a zoo membership because it is so close. We usually go on Saturdays, just for a couple of hours. The kids look forward to it. Ryland, everytime we get into the car says "animals" and I have to tell him "no, not today."

Well, we had our little girl. We moved to Santa Barbara. We drove back to Utah for Jeremy's brothers wedding. We came back to Santa Barbara and are getting ready for school to start. Sorry for not blogging. I sure everyone will forgive me. I feel like I'm short on time and words today so you'll have to settle for pictures. We have lots of fun things to do now that we are here. We have a zoo pass for the whole family. We have the beach, and lots of playgrounds. The weather is always nice, so we are outside ALL the time. Avery and Kaiden start school on Monday. I'm sure Ill have pictures to post then too!

So I got the news last Monday that the Dr. gave me the green light to be induced on the 20th. I'm excited, and a little worried. I'm excited to be finished with this pregnancy (the last one) and have a new baby. A little worried, because that means the move is just 4 short days after that. Thankfully, I have had my sister here to help. We have been able to get so much done these past couple of days.

Last night, some of my friends took us to the Cheesecake Factory and had a little baby shower for me. It was so nice to have a night out, without the kids. I had some great food and of coarse CHEESECAKE! Thanks guys. We had the server take a picture of us, but somehow he managed to take 2 blurry pictures. sorry...

Last night when I got home, I had an e-mail from Jeremy.

California or Bust

I have been dying to blog about this for a while now. I have been waiting for Jeremy to let his company know that he was going to be leaving before I was able to post this. JEREMY GOT A JOB IN SANTA BARBARA CALIFORNIA! We are so excited to be moving closer to family, and the ocean! He will be working for a company called Citrix. They are a great company...I couldn't be any more proud of him. His official start date is July 6th!

Now for the fun part...He is moving in 2 weeks, I'll be here (in Missouri) until the baby is born. (July 21st ish) 2 days, yes your read that correctly, 2days after the baby is born, and if all goes well, we will then move the whole family out to Santa Barbara. Crazy I know, but it has to be done.

The kids are really excited to be close to family again too. Avery gets to start Kindergarten this year now. She is ready for it!! I will have 2 in school and 2 at home! :) My sister flew in on Monday to be here with me and to help out. I'm keeping my fingers crossed, that everything will go well. All I can say is that we are really excited!!

I sure love this boy. He is my little challenge, but so worth it. He keeps me on my toes, and makes sure I don't waste anytime sleeping. I'm grateful for that, because I can get so much more done during the day. He is always smiling. When he is crying he likes to fake you out. He will cry for a 1/2 minute then out of the blue growl at you just to make you laugh. I can't wait to see him as a big brother!!

So lately, I have been working really hard to find fantastic deals on things we buy often. I have been following a few blogs, going to coupon sites, searching adds, and getting free samples in the mail because they come with coupons. I have actually been having a lot of fun. Now, I am sure that I haven't found all the deals around here, but yesterday I had to do my weekly grocery shopping. Usually I'll make our menu for the week, go online to see if I can find any coupons for the things on my list, and then check out the adds for the stores around me. Yesterday, I hit the jackpot!! Kellogg cereal was on sale at Hy-Vee for $1.58 a box. The coupons I happen to run into had $1 off 1 box of Kellogg cereal. So, if you do the math that is .58 cents a box!! My kids love cereal and we go through about a box and a half a week. So I ran down to Hy-Vee and loaded up the shopping cart with 11 boxes of cereal! The check out lady said to me "wow, you guys eat a lot of cereal." I just smiled and handed her my coupons, once I did that, I think she got it! I was really pumped! So now the pantry is stuffed with cereal. Today I realized that Jeremy had a laptop home and that I could print out more coupons and get more?!?! I think I might be addicted to great deals now!

Today, on a friends blog she posted about e.l.f makeup being on sale on their website. Everything (almost) was a $1! Now, I know that I don't buy makeup very often, but who could pass this up right? Jeremy had just told me about another site that actually came up with different promo codes for websites to give you discounts on your check out. Normal shipping was $6.95. I was excited and gave myself a $20 budget (including shipping) and filled my little cart. When I went to check out I remembered the website Jeremy told me about. So I went to check it out and found a whole list of promo codes for e.l.f. I ended up using the $2 shipping for $20 order. So I got to get 5 more things and still pay less! Happy Mothers Day to me!

So let me start by saying this is going to be a long one...
I have been so behind in my blogging. Sorry!!

Kaiden had a soccer game on Saturday, I'm proud to say that he scored his first goal! No, I did no record it. My sisters say I'm fired, but what can I say. I'm lucky to get the family ready and on time to his game anyway.

Kaiden also was the "star student" last week in his class. It is just a little spot light that they do for all the kids in class and it was his turn. He was really excited to bring some of his baby pictures to school to have everyone see.

We had a school carnival to go to as well. We where all sick, but really needed to get out of the house. The kids had a good time. Ryland loved playing plinko. I'm sure it had nothing to do with the fact it involved little ping pong balls. The bigger kids like playing the beanbag toss games, and of course Avery had to play the cake walk. Unfortunately we didn't win a cake.

So, Avery and Ryland have had a cough for a long time that was being miss diagnosed. At first it was just a virus, then bronchitis, and now it is walking Pneumonia with ear infections. The funny thing is, with the bronchitis diagnosis, they where put on antibiotics, but it didn't help at all. So with the walking Pneumonia we have a whole new set of meds, and in 2 weeks we have to go back and have ears checked to make sure the infection is gone. The Dr. told me that she wasn't 100% sure if the meds would take care of the ears. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Jeremy got sick a few weeks ago too. (When I say sick, I mean coughing, sore throat, stuffiness, you know the works) I had it too for a little while and thought that I had gotten over it. We both ended up at the Dr's last week and now are on our own set of meds and an inhaler. Good times.

We have decided to put the boys together in the same room now. They are doing great with the little move. Ryland REALLY enjoys being with Kaiden. Kaiden seems to like it too, but has his mornings where he wakes up tired...:) We moved Kaiden's bed into Ryland's room and switched walls for both of their beds. Both of them fall out of bed almost every night now...oops, I didn't think about that.

I'm still on the hunt for a preschool for Avery. I'm really hoping she will some how get into the High school program. She is #5 on the waiting list! I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
Ryland and I are in a Mom and tot gymnastics class, its quite the work out for me. Its probably a good thing. He has a great time, and listens really well.

Jeremy has been busy with work, as usual. I finally see a light at the end of our tunnel as far as debt goes. I hate that we where stupid when we first got married and had a lot of CC debt. Live and learn!! I'm for sure going teach my kids to SAVE! I've figured out a way to cut our grocery bill down but almost half!! I'm excited about that. I go once a week now, and use coupons. I'm sure that is a pretty obvious thing for everyone else, but I thought only shopping 1 time every 2 weeks was smarter. Turns it I was wrong. I think Jeremy and I counted how many times I made a Walmart run in a month...I'm sad to say it was 15 times...yikes.

I got a few things for the baby... I've been shopping the clearance :)

The other night we looked outside and saw how green it was. This usually means tornado weather. I'm not sure if the picture does it justice. This is what our "backyard" looks like.

I'm excited for my mini trip back to Utah in a couple of weeks. It's just me going. Maybe that means a couple nights of uninterrupted sleep...right! Rebecca is graduating. It makes me feel old. I'm sure Ill have a lot of pictures to post after my trip.

Sad Easter Pictures, Messy Madness, and cute boys

So Easter morning the kids woke up at 6:30. I get up to get my camera and charger, because I knew it was dead, and for the life of me, I can not find the charger anywhere. So our Easter Pictures consist of blurry, dark photos of the kids. Sad, sad. Needless to say when I figure out how to get my camera charged I'll be taking nice pictures of the kids in their Easter clothes.

Jeremy's work had an Easter egg hunt on Friday. I got the kids dressed and couldn't help myself. My boys looked so cute.
Messy Madness was a fun activity that the school district put on. The name says it all. They had all kinds of activities for the kids to get into. Things that I would never let them do at my house. They had a great time. Ry wasn't still enough to get a picture of him, but he was there too!!

New addicitions

So I have 3 new addictions....

So obviously I took these pictures from the internet... Strawberry and blueberry cream pie. (sometimes I pick the blueberry's off) I bought a huge one at Costco. The sad thing is, is that Jeremy is dieting still and hasn't touched it... I'm embarrassed to say, it's almost gone.

Who doesn't love pork chops? I have been seasoning mine with (dry) Italian dressing mix. We have had it 2 times in 3 days....

water...but a lot better!!

I don't think I'll have to explain to the Dr. this time, why I still haven't gained any weight! There wont be a problem there!!!!

Jeremy and I got to go to the Phantom of the Opera last night. It's was completely amazing, everything I thought it would be.

Jeremy made dinner reservations at this fresh seafood restaurant in Kansas city for us. It's called McCormick and Schmicks. We indulged ourselves, and started with the most amazing Ahi. I ordered the lobster and shrimp ravioli and Jeremy got the Filet Mignon. I have to say, it was THE best meal I have ever, EVER eaten! For desert, we go something called a chocolate bag. It was dark chocolate that was shaped like a paper bag. It was filled with berrys and cream to the top! Needless to say, we left very full.

This is a really bad picture of me. But the point is the desert!

We went to Phantom right after dinner. We had great seats. I really don't think we could have gotten better seats, even if we where in the front row. It was close enough to see everything, but not to close to where your neck hurt. We weren't in the middle so we didn't have to climb over anyone, but still in the middle section. The show was great! We couldn't take pictures obviously, and I was to embarrassed to ask someone to take a picture of us outside... Overall I wouldn't change anything. We both needed a little time out together. Jeremy has been working so much lately and now that we can't go on the cruise this May, it was a perfect solution. Thanks Jeremy!!

So Jeremy and I are going to the Phantom of the Opera on the 3rd of April. That is a little over a week away. Normally I would probably have the perfect outfit to wear...but being preggo and not huge yet I have a small problem. I DON'T KNOW WHAT I'M GOING TO WEAR! I do have things to wear for when I'm bigger, but I'm not there yet. (I thought I would be big by now) My normal clothes do not fit either. I hate the in between stage. I don't want to go out and spend money on something that wont fit me in a month either. I don't know what to do!! Sad, this is the only thing I have to post about.... ;) Thank you for letting me whine a little!

Kaiden had his first game last Saturday. He loved it. It was a lot of fun going out and watching him as a family. I was cheering him on loudly, and getting into it. Avery and Ryland could have really cared less about what Kaiden was doing. They where just happy to be outside. We all got a little sunburned, because I didn't think about sunscreen, I haven't in a while...guess that will change. Here are some pictures of my cute boy on the field. He is number 7!

So now that we know that we are having another girl, I'm getting really excited to start to change the kids rooms around and decorate. I already have a lot of ideas in my head, mostly for the girls room.

This is the idea that I'm leaning toward!! Avery is in love with it too, so she is on board. We have to buy a bunkbed for the boys, and new bedding for them too. Plus dressers for both rooms. Does anyone know how to make it rain money???? I really don't know how we have lasted this long without dressers, but we have and the time has come to get some. I can't take it anymore!! I really want to get Ry into a big bed ASAP, so I wont have to worry about that when the baby comes. I also want to take down the crib and sand it down and paint it white, so it is more feminine. My list keeps going and going!!! How about a money tree? Anyone know where I can get one of those?????

So I was at Hy-Vee today,(that's like the equivalent to Albertsons) buying all of our produce that we eat, and I thought that I would go check out the baby section just to see what they might have on sale. To my surprise, they had their diapers on sale. CHA-CHING. I, of corse had my coupons on me, so I had my $5 off the huggies coupons. The Huggies where on sale for $8.88!! So with the -$5, they where $3.88 a pack!!! What a super score!! I was pretty pumped. I'm wishing I had more than 4 coupons left for the Huggies....

20 Weeks

Well, we had our ultrasound today! We got to see our baby for the first time.

We also found that we are having....

A Girl!!!!

They say that she weighs 10 oz. and she has an inch long foot! She is measuring about 5 days behind my due date. So I guess my girls are just smaller then the boys. The boys are always measuring 2 weeks ahead. We do/might have a name picked out, its Brinley Elizabeth. (although it can change in the next 20 weeks) We are so excited!

Well, lets see...Ryland has learned to climb out of his crib!! I know it is a good thing, and good timing, because we will need the crib shortly, but I am defiantly not ready to let him have that kind of freedom. When he is tired, for the most part, he does stay in his bed. I have had him come into our room at 1:30 in the morning, just because he can, I'm sure. The other day he feel asleep on the floor in his room. I took a picture: (he likes to pull out all the diapers and wipes in his room, and he uses his slide and other objects to reach things if you can't tell)

Kaiden started soccer last week. He is one of the biggest kids on his team. I'm hoping he will really love soccer, so I can become a real soccer MOM! Kaiden just lost his second tooth. Thank goodness he is brave enough to pull it out on his own. Jeremy and I have a hard time with loose teeth, lets hope one of us bucks up and does it some day!!

Avery is doing great. She is still as sassy as ever. The other day she told me that I need to wear some flush. I assume she meant blush, because she said all the Princesses wear it and she will be wearing it too. She said they have some really great flush at Libby Lou.

So Ry had the flu this week. So far nobody else has gotten it. (knock on wood) Lets just say it was a long 3 days. Today is the first day that he is able to eat and drink. I feel much better knowing that is what he wants to be doing. It was a little scary for a little while there, but we are on the up and up!!

We find out what we are having on Monday. I'm really nervous! I'm keeping my fingers and toes crossed for a girl. If it is a boy, Ill be happy too, but who wouldn't want another Avery?? Cortney found out what she is having this past week. Ill let you check out her blog for the news! We are really excited for her!
I'll have to post a 20 week baby bump before I go to the Dr. on Monday. That way I know I'll look cute. :)

So, I've been released from Nursery. It's a bitter sweet day! I've served for almost a year, and now that Ryland is in there, it's going to be nice to get a short break from him. The kids always where so cute and funny. It's hard to come home from Church in a bad mood after spending time with the ward kids. They always come up with funny things to say, and do. I was lucky to have a great partner to work with, who kept things organized and on track!

Now, I get to be a big girl. Go to Relief Society, the only thing I'm nervous about is, I DON'T KNOW ANY ADULTS IN THERE!! I only know them by there kids and if they don't have kids in the nursery, forget it!!

So, I did something kinda funny. I was at Target 2 days ago and "happen" to see their clearance stuff. I found some baby bedding. The deal was to great to pass up. I know it is really early, but I knew I wouldn't be able to find another deal like this again. I bought a girl set, and a boy set. I thought I could either give away the set that I wont need. So the price..... For each bumper pad it was $4.98, for the dust ruffles it was $4.24, and for the comforters it was $5.98. So total I think I payed under 15 bucks (for each set)!?!?!?!
Pretty cute for for $15. Right???
